May 2017

Here's a long one for May.
Full of warm almostsummerness and personality and things I don't want to forget.

Snacks with Aunt Mini and Anvika

Mission Fair face painting

Peter loved his paint

Unfortunately, it did not love him.

I'm not sure this pic even does justice to the red puffiness of Peter's face when the paint came off

Next Day: The beautiful roses outside our library.

Mothers Day at preschool (one of my favorite Mamas getting honored by her Gabriella)

Mothers Day 2017

How I love these who make me a Mama

Anvika's b'day party? Not sure the occasion, but love these buddies.

Triumphant, glorious spring in our "Wilderness"

The text for reading class--lines from Peter's favorite songs.
A good snapshot both of what he was grooving to, and how surprisingly quick reading caught on.

I can't remember what he was listening to here but I do remember he sat like this for song after song, transfixed and soaking it in.

The 64" tag with Aunt Lena's wedding shower gift: "Picked out and wrapped by Peter Clay Martin"

When we went shopping, besides explaining (a lot) about registries and getting people what they ask for, each kid got a few bucks to pick out the gift they knew Aunt Lena and Uncle Jeff truly needed. Peter chose colorful smoothie straws; Anna chose a jiggly basting brush.
