We honored Memorial Day. Specifically by remembering and explaining it to the kids. And (possibly more memorable to them at this point) we enjoyed 3 days dedicated to the 4 of us having a lot of fun together. Here are some highlights.
Started off with a drive up to Damascus for that summer night legend, Jimmie Cone.

That's the only shot I have, but we planted them for a while after that.
Then on to the Airport Cafe for lunch where the kids cheered on all the planes from our front-row seats.

Sunday? We worshipped God together with our church family and probably did some more planting? No pics to remind me. But I do have pics from probably my favorite part of the weekend, our hike at Seneca Creek State Park on Monday:
