Another Exciting Month
We began September with a trip to Grandaddy and Oma's house for a visit and early birthday celebration.
Goofing
Seeing how he measures up to Aunt Gege's table.
"Hi Aunt Gege!!!"
Loving the big yard, and exploring with Oma
Back home, a little quiet before the storm...
PRE-SCHOOL!!!
First Day pics in the morning sun:
Making his name-tag
Parents got to sit in on the first day
Meanwhile, Anna suddenly finds the need for a lunchbox, too...
Making cookies to bring for the second day of pre-school:
Quality control.
Why cookies on the 2nd day of pre-school, you ask? Well, because that's the day that this boy is
3 YEARS OLD!!!!
Then a little b'day celebrating at the park with some friends...
The celebration continued the following weekend, with a little birthday visit from the Trabandts and Greggs.
Love having all these together.
What else happened in September? Well, the took some baths...
Aaaand apparently scored more birthday cookies before getting dressed...?
My sweet girlie, finger puppeting here and feeding Dah there.
From Nana: the gift of gourds.
Birthday in the Park. This time, it was Henry's.
More sibling-ness
I don't remember the context of many of these any more, but they are snapshots of our life. I remember this was a time of much discovery on Anna's part, of turning into a little girl, with words and understanding and the becoming a real playmate with her brother.
