Return

Hello! I guess I took the rest of the summer off. And the Fall. And most of the winter. And now, because I do like to use this little blog as a sort of family photo journal, and because I have too many wondrous memories-in-photo to skip, I have the task of a mighty recap on our last 7 months or so. I'll try to use restraint.

Owing to some technical issues, all photos prior to late July are not accessible (they are safe and will be restored to me, Lord willing.) So that's where we'll start, and you who never see these kids except on this blog (so sorry) will get to watch them grow up in fast-forward. So here's a throwback the last days of July...

...when we had lots of hot sweaty times at the playground

...and cooler indoor sports like building and beginner spooning

And this tan little cutie...

This was Peter's favorite seat at the pool this summer...a little bit hydrophobic.

Some things have not changed in 7 months. Groggy, sweaty, boy awakened from his nap by eager peppy little sister who can't wait to play in his bed.

Here's a thing: this was Summer 2014

Summer 2015

And again, one year:

More summer memories: Baskin Robbins.

2 more of Anna Frances

2 more of Peter Clay

Rockville Town Center with Caetano.
The look on Peter's face says it all. He was pretty unsure about the shooting fountains.
As we were leaving, he finally was emboldened to creep up. Anna, the one without a swimsuit, charged right in .

An enthusiastic time with the Mercados

Lots of early morning exercise walks. The single stroller here tells me this was a special occasion.

Sweetness

No, this is not an announcement.
Just a little keepsake reminder from our foyer floor of our summer adventures and the shoes that carried us through them.
