Catching Up

Ok, pics for friends and family. I really keep meaning to compose posts with a little more verbal substance, but so much for my intentions. I don't spend a lot of time on my computer these days, but one thing I do is take an absurd number of pics of my boy with my iPhone. I can't help it--he's ALWAYS doing something new or funny or just melting me with his incredible cuteness. I stare at and study him and love him and then have a longing to somehow capture the moment, because all those moments just seem to fly away and, as fast as he's changing, I know I'm going to wake up tomorrow and he'll be 6 1/2 feet tall.

So here are a few batches of favorites, a little belated some of them.

Here's Peter demonstrating that he's now as long as the bed is wide. And that was several weeks ago. Yet for some reason he insists on sleeping cross-ways much of the time. He's now so mobile in his bed, though, that he makes more than a full tour of every corner, angle, and position in his crib during the course of the night--or sometimes even just a nap.

 In other sleep shots: You can't see his sleeping face in this shot, but the I looked in his monitor and found the boy zonked out with his hand in the air. Not sure what he was pointing at.
