Peter's 5th Birthday

As I wrote on Facebook:

This one turned 5 today, who makes my heart run over
with all he is and is becoming.
Happy 5th Birthday, to my deep thinking, crazy dancing, book worming, snowflake cutting, nature loving, storytelling, sweet, silly, wonderful boy.

And I wrote this letter to the man himself:

After all the excitement of the wedding the day before, Peter's Birthday was low key, fun, beautiful, and the middle of 3 consecutive big days (the next would be his first day of school)

We soaked up our last few hours with the cousins on the playground of my childhood:
Orange Elementary School

Slide Racing

Birthday Celebration at Nana & Daideo's before heading back to MD.
(He was just a little excited to get "Red"  on his cake.)

Picking up a definite theme with these gifts...

In the foreground, Siena's B'day art for Peter

Back in Gaithersburg: more presents! From Cars 3!  Ms. Fritter for the win.

And some Wild Kraats Books

One other little gift we brought home from Orange: Monarchs!

Good morning, Stripey and Painty!
