July Living

Our new sandbox.

It was a big hit for the rest of the summer. And even sometimes in the winter.

Sticker love note from my boy

My little butterfly fairy Princess PJs...examining the remnants of a balloon animal.

I told Peter he could earn a dime if he caught a vexing housefly with these tongs.

A worker worthy of his wages   (he really did it!)

Heading to Mars for resettlement

Tree huggers

Later...

Panorama from my delightful summer seat. Anna's napping; Peter's playing; I've got my umbrella, my water, my afternoon coffee, getting some work done on my laptop. Aaaahhh.

Painting. And one last shot of our old kitchen...

Just a little family night at the Rio

Enthralled by the juggler

I heard it pointed out that moms are never in pictures because they're the ones behind the camera. I've never been a selfie person, but apparently I made a conscious effort in July. With the help of this cute little button-pusher.

Here discovered in the midst of kitchen deconstruction rubble

It took me a moment to remember what this pic was about. At least they remember to replace the roll...

Oh this was sad. Turned a corner at high speed, went airborne, took it on the noggin.

A few mins later

Cute little mint fiends

At Woodley Gardens Park in Rockville, voted our favorite of the summer.

How I love these sweaty faces

And it has Carmen's Italian Ice across the street.

Same park, different day, with the Mohamouds.

All wore out; read himself to sleep.

(Outside Shady Grove Hospital, visiting Pami before the twins were born)
