The Fourth

Just a few from Independence Day...

(We crashed a parade and carnival in the Kentlands for a low-key but fun family time.)
And yes, not one of us did I think to to bedeck in patriotic colors. Oops.

We found a good friend on the way in...

Lunch in the shade

Family cookout on the back patio. Yay for summer corn.

Pictures from life lately

A bunch of photos from the last week or so.

Here's our sweet and growing Anna lately

And her doting (though still adjusting) big brother.
(In the second picture, he's hiding.)

Our kiddos comparing toes on the play mat

Anna enjoying* her new bath towel (Thanks, Grandma!)

 Sibling pics.

Sharing Nora's amazing blueberry cobbler

We've been trying to get out a lot with Peter. He scored a train ride at the Rio, a trip to the park while his sister slept in the baby k'tan, and a father-son play date with Anirvin and Srinath.

 Anna at 2 weeks old

Peter still loving the legos
(they won't dare fall if you stare them down)

Our growing girl, showing off her new pj size (0-3m)--she's now officially outgrown her newborn ones (in length).

And this tired, happy mama.
Grateful to God beyond words for my two sweet and wondrous children and my beloved Tom, the love of my life, my dearest friend and humble leader in this wild adventure.
